I’m Chicago born and Texas raised, but now reside in Seattle. I earned a degree in history at Texas A&M and I continued my education at the University of Houston, where I received an MA in European history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a historian, I learned the craft of storytelling and the value of tireless research. I began to write online for literary and lifestyle publications, and then developed the skills necessary to become a versatile and successful editor and digital marketer, freelancing for prestigious outlets like the Los Angeles Review of Books and Lifewire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2015, I took on the role of lead editor at Health Fitness Revolution, collaborating with the site’s founder and a talented team of writers. I crafted an engaging editorial schedule and curating interviews with politicians and industry professionals. Our work garnered widespread recognition, with major online publications sharing our articles and millions of readers benefiting from the information we provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2016 I moved to Seattle to work for Optimal. There, I managed PPC campaigns on AdWords, LinkedIn and Facebook, created and executed sophisticated content marketing plans in the higher education and jobs niches, and used technical analysis to draft reports that measured their success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2019-2020 I supplemented my writing work with hands-on experience in the wine industry. I worked as a tasting room associate for Tertulia Cellars before moving on to my first vintage work at DeLille Cellars, a celebrated winery in Washington State specializing in high-end Bordeaux and Rhone blends, and finally at Hardy\u2019s Tintara in McClaren Vale, Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, I serve as the Content Manager at Curran, a boutique e-commerce retailer specializing in premium outdoor furniture and custom area rugs. In this role, I drive the content strategy to expand organic traffic and enhance our brand reputation among our target audience, which includes trade professionals and discerning residential consumers. Notably, I recently led a successful effort to migrate over 4000 pages to a new headless CMS, ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
